In cash register systems and certain robot and PLC systems, 20 mA current loops are
common. With the MA-21, which converts between a 20 mA current loop and RS-232/V.24, point to point connections as well as loops can be used. The interface can handle up to six units. The equipment can be switched to active/passive for current source. MA-29 and MD-21 are alternative products.
