The LRW-102/LRW-102PP offers an easy way to extend the distance between 78 kbit/s LonWorks TP/FT-networks using a fibre optic link. The LRW-102/102PP is completely transparent to the protocol therefore installation is simple as no new network addresses are needed. The LRW-102 is equipped with either one (LRW-102PP) or two pairs of fibre optic receivers and transmitters. This allows the user to build either point to point-, bus- or redundant ring topology fibre links. The LRW-102/102PP has a built-in redundancy system that provides for fault tolerance in the fibre rings.
