M-bus (Meter-Bus) is a new European standard for remote reading of heat or electricity meter.
M-bus is also useable for other types of consumption meters.
The M-bus interface is made for communication on two wire, this make it very cost effective.
AD-01 has several functions in to one unit, this make it easy to build a hole network whit AD-01.
For example the AD-01 can be used as a converter from RS-232 to M-bus, or as a repeater to make the communication distance longer, AD-01 can also be used to extend a M-bus network whit modem.
As zone controller the AD-01 can make it possibly to connect several M-bus interfaces to one master.
