Network connectivity for digital payment systems

Public transport passenger numbers are increasing worldwide, which can also mean increased congestion at stations and on-board trains. Digital solutions are becoming more common, and smartphones, near field communication (NFC) and radio frequency identification (RFID) systems are being integrated into stations and on-board trains to improve the travel experience. Digital ticketing solutions help prevent congestion but increase the need for robust and available networks. Westermo offers a variety of network solutions for connecting digital payment systems that are typically found on-board trains and at railway stations.

Westermo provides products and solutions for most networking applications within the rail industry. Our extensive product range and deep understanding of rail applications ensures that we can offer the best solution for your needs.
