Basic online training

To get the most out of the workshop you should have a good basic knowledge of TCP/IP and networking. We can offer you an online training course to prepare for the workshop. When you send an enquiry for the training you will get access to four Webex presentations, each with a duration between one to two hours. Especially for those of you who are not fully confident in your knowledge level we recommend that you attend these free of charge sessions.

Training, part 1

This three days Workshop for end users, sales or support engineers focuses on building robust and redundant networks with Westermo products. During the exercises different ways and methods to troubleshoot are used.

A Westermo Certified Engineer will be more effective at solving network problems and also be able to provide better support for their installations. On completion of the course and examination a certificate will be issued.

Prerequisites

While there are no official course prerequisites, attendees of Westermo Certified Engineer Training Part 1 should have a good  basic knowledge of TCP/IP and networking to get the most out of the Certified Engineer Training Part 1. We can offer you a free online training to prepare for the workshop.

Course Fee: 2 000€

You'll be provided with copies of instructor presentations and the hands-on exercises for your course, both printed and electronic. All certification exams are free. Westermo also provides lunch and light refreshments during morning and afternoon breaks. The course fee does not include accommodation, travel or any other expenses that may be incurred by our customers.

Training, part 2

This three days Workshop for end users, sales or support engineers focuses on services in WeOS. During the exercises different ways and methods to troubleshoot are used. WeConfig, a Westermo configuration tool, will be used in a network implementation exercise where also design issues will be discussed.

A Westermo Certified Engineer will be more effective at solving network problems and also be able to provide better support for their installations.  On completion of the course and examination a certificate will be issued.

Prerequisites

While there are no official course prerequisites, attendees of Westermo Certified Engineer Training Part 2 are expected to have participated in Westermo Certified Engineer Training Part 1 or have good knowledge and experience of Westermo products.
