Did you know the RedFox rack switch complies with the ETSI standard?

The RedFox 19” rack has been designed to comply with the European ETSI telecoms standard. The ETSI standard demands that all connection to a 19” rack mounted device are via the front of the rack and the depth from front to back including any fibre connection is no more than 300mm including the bend radius of the fibre.  The ETSI standard ensures that equipment can be installed inside a wall mounted 19” enclosures or where equipment is mounted back to back inside a standard 19” floor mounted enclosure.  The trackside railway market typically uses a floor mount 19” wide x 350mm deep enclosures. The RFIR is ideally suited for the standard 19” enclosures found along the railway trackside or control room application.
