On Thursday, March 6, Westermo officially opened its first site in Hebbal, Bangalore North, India. This new entity not only expands sales and production capacity but also brings on board highly skilled professionals for key positions in sales, operations, and technical support, along with a diverse range of additional support roles.

The opening ceremony was attended by customers, channel partners, and suppliers. It featured a keynote speech by Jenny Sjödahl, CEO of Westermo, who highlighted Westermo's vision and future endeavours. The event included a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a lamp-lighting ceremony representing the dispelling of darkness with the light of knowledge, marking the beginning of a new venture. Guests were also given a tour of the newly opened facility and a presentation showcasing Westermo's innovative solutions.
