Rail nodes providing multi-gigabit connectivity between trackside and train

Westermo’s mmWave solution provides continuous multi-gigabit connectivity between the trackside and train for on-board services, including passenger internet access, CCTV uploads, and other multimedia applications. The trackside unit (Oryx-7322) works in tandem with the on-board unit (Oryx-7321) to establish a high-throughput wireless link. Both units feature two radios that operate together to maintain an aggregated data throughput of 1–4 Gbps per train, even at high speeds.
