One of the most time-consuming and error-prone processes of any new installation is to give each device a unique IP address. WeConfig can discover more than 200 switches all with the default 192.168.2.200. The basic setup “Fill” function requires only the first address of the address range along with the subnet mask length, Gateway IP address and other common fields used to identify the device in the network.  It is very unlikely that the IP addresses will be in a logical order on the first pass. WeConfig provides additional features that help to visualise and create an orderly network topology by displaying the connections between each device.
