Extreme shock resistance

Did you know the Viper switches have extreme shock resistance?

In the industrial world, there are many environments that can be challenging for electronic equipment such as network switches. On-board trains and on ships, constant vibrations could severely damage a switch over time. In the mining industry or in a container terminal, a switch could be exposed to a hard shock. These are normal conditions in these types of environments and must not affect the operations of the network.

The standard Viper switches have been designed to withstand shock of up to 100 g according to IEC 60068-2-27, making sure that the data communications will continue without any data loss even in the worst possible environmental conditions.
