Ethernet-verkot sähköasemien automaatiosovelluksissa
Sähköasema on kenties vaativin ympäristö elektroniikkatuotteille. Korkeat EMC-tasot (Electromagnetic Interference) yhdessä verkon kriittisten tietojen kanssa tekevät sähköasemien automaatiosovellusten tiedonsiirrosta erityisen haastavaa. Yhtäkään datapakettia ei saa menettää eri IED-laitteiden (Intelligent Electronic Device) ja ohjausjärjestelmän välisessä tiedonsiirrossa. Tämä asettaa äärimmäisiä vaatimuksia verkkokytkimille.
