Westermo sponsors the 11thIEEE Conference on software testing, validation and verification and will present its world-class software test framework.

Westermo is to be one of the main sponsors of ICST 2018, the 11th IEEE Conference on software testing, validation and verification. This highly respected international event provides a common forum for researchers, scientists, engineers and practitioners to present their latest research findings, ideas, developments and applications.

From 9thto 13thApril, Västerås, Sweden, home of the Westermo research and development centre will follow in the footsteps of Tokyo and Chicago by hosting ICST 2018. Westermo's dedication to software testing made them to sponsor the event, but the outstanding work with software testing that is conducted at the company is of such importance that they will demonstrate the company’s test framework for automated software testing.

Westermo has a deep commitment to software testing and conducts research both internally and in collaboration with Mälardalen University. Research performed by Westermo has led to the publication of several scientific papers, of which industrial doctoral student Per Strandberg's paper on Automated System Level Regression Test Prioritization Using Multiple Factors was awarded `Best Research Paper’ at the International Symposium on Software Reliability Engineering (ISSRE) in Ottawa in 2016.
