Did you know that WeOS devices can be used in the Nitrogen atmosphere used in subsea applications as standard?

 In the Oil and Gas subsea industry it is common to replace the air in a subsea module with dry nitrogen. Nitrogen is used as it is chemically non-reactive so there will be no corrosion or oxidisation inside the module. All the devices in the Westermo range, from the ODW-7xx, serial to fibre converter, to the most sophisticated WeOS devices can all be installed in a nitrogen atmosphere without any degrading of the device or its expected service life.
